Candle Care

For Your Best Candle Life

Like all things, candles love tender care. 

Here are best practices when burning your martini or margarita candle:

​

  • Allow your candle to burn for approximately 2 hours on your first burn. This is enough time for your candle wax to melt fully across the top. 

    • This will avoid  “tunneling” where the candle wax “tunnels”, decreasing the life of your candle. 

​

  • Trim wick with scissors each use. 

​

  • Never leave candle unattended.

Not Quite Yet...
The image on the right is a candle that has been burning for approximately one hour.
Because the wax top has not fully melted, it is important to not blow out the candle at this time if avoidable.

After Lighting Your Candle
Let's face it; we all want to burn our candles right away. However,  it is best to wait to burn your candle until you have a 2-3 hour time period you will be be home so the candle top can burn fully across.

That's It!
At this point (final photo) the candle has fully burned across the top. A candle burned to this point will have a longer life as well as a better quality burn moving forward.
